no brain powerful sting1
  • English

    No brain. Powerful sting.

There are over 200 species of jellyfish that can deliver painful stings. Some can be fatal. If you are stung by a jellyfish soak the area in vinegar for 15 to 30 minutes, or a mixture of sea water and 70% isopropyl alcohol, to stop the spread of the toxin. Wear gloves and remove tentacles with tweezers or a stick. Never wash the affected area with fresh water, apply ice or hot water, or rub the area, as this will cause the toxins to spread.
